Sherwin-Williams Packaging Coatings

Project Wildcat

Revitalization of an existing building to expand small-batch processing capacity. EMCO installed all Process Piping and Equipment, Process and Building Hot Water and Chilled Water all within a new Personnel and Forklift Bridge from the main production building, and recommissioned Blend Vessels. Contracted direct with the owner, and our best repeat customer since.

Plant Relocation

We designed and installed the full manufacturing process: Blend Vessels and Bulk Tanks, Tanker Truck Offloading and Loading, Process Chilled Water, Compressed Air, Vacuum and DI Water, Electrical Service, PLC and Automation Controls.

LNG Plant Upgrades

Several plant upgrade projects at the Pinson and Coosada LNG facilities, including Vaporizer Replacement. Every pipe from the liquid storage tanks through the distribution pipeline was installed by EMCO. Extreme Pressure and Temperature Stainless Steel is our niche.

Every Shutdown Since the 1990s

One to two Plant Shutdowns a year since the early 1990s, plus nearly all Capital Work, Electrical included: Process Pipe Replacements, Reactor Upgrades, a ground-up Boiler House and Steam System, and a CO Generation, Storage and Distribution System that required modifications to the existing Hydrogen, Nitrogen, Compressed Air and Carbon Monoxide systems.

Packaging Division

Process Design Consultation, Equipment Installation and Project Execution for Rainbow Technology's new Packaging Division, including Bulk Storage and Package Distribution. EMCO was involved from Layout Discussions and Design Reviews through Equipment Installation, Startup and Commissioning.

Warehouse & Rail Expansion

When Creative Polymer Solutions expanded into a second plant with rail access, they brought EMCO with them. We installed a Steam System, three Railcar Offloading Systems and new Mixers, along with the Transfer Pumps and Process Piping that tie them together.
